Extendable valve turning systems are known to be fragile and lack the necessary torque to free stuck valves. Until now-with the introduction of the most powerful unit in the industry. Incorporating Wachs’ WAVE technology the ERV-750 ensures that the minimum necessary amount of torque is always applied, virtually eliminating valve
breakage. It is fully automated and intelligent,so even inexperienced operators can quickly deal with inaccessible and obstructed valve boxes, safely free stuck valves, exercise neglected valves, and obtain critical information like valve health, valve type, open/closed status, turn direction and torque requirements. All of this information is easily logged, uploaded, stored and retrieved via the Wachs tracking and logging system (VITALS).

The vacuum system will quickly remove dirt, stone, debris and water from valve boxes and vaults. What won't pass through the 3" vacuum hose (e.g., broken glass, broken valve covers) can often be lifted using the powerful vacuum.

Guillotine Pipe Saw
The four models available, Model C, Super C, Model D and Super D, cold cut 2” through 24” (50.8mm – 610mm) pipe of all materials, as well as solids such as bar stock and rails.

With their efficient operation, compact design and ease of setup, these models provide fast, accurate cold cutting of pipe for contractors, water departments, gas companies and refineries, as well as nuclear industry, petrochemical plants, processing, paper and general industry plant maintenance departments.

Model C: Cuts 2” through 8” (50mm – 203mm) pipe. Cuts solids through 9.625” (244mm) dia.

Super C: Cuts 2” through 12” (50mm – 304mm) pipe. Cuts solids through 12.75” (323mm) dia.

Model D: Cuts 6” through 18” (152mm – 457mm) pipe. Cuts solids through 18.625” (473mm) dia.

Super D: Cuts 10” through 24” (255mm – 610mm) pipe. Cuts solids through 24. 5” (622mm) dia.

Secured by its tensioning chain, the Trav-L-Cutters can be mounted on horizontal or vertical pipe in the field or shop, in an oil-filled ditch or under water. The Trav-L-Cutters’ self-propelled chain drive system maintains continuous out-of-round compensation while providing positive drive under all conditions—for accurate cuts. A standard wall pipe can be cut and beveled with a cutting speed of approximately one minute per 1” (24.5mm) of pipe diameter. Cutting time varies for heavier walls and harder alloys.
